My little "Tressie Jean's " site.....

Dedication Page

Dedicated to my dad Charles "Chuck" Fontaine. 1931-1995

I want to dedicate this page to my dad. My dad took me squirrel hunting the first time when I was 5 years old. I. shot his 20 guage at a squirrel straight up over my head while standing on a stump. I got the squirrel but I was knocked flat on my bottom. My dad taught me how to hunt and fish. He was a great outdoorsman. He was an avid deer and wild hog hunter and he was good at it. He had a little feist named Tressie when I was a boy.My dad used to sit me in front of the live well in his one man boat and paddle up Catfish Creek in Marion County, SC. I was the shooter and he was the paddler. I killed a lot of squirrels in those days. I named my new pup "Tressie Jean". Tressie for my dad's dog and Jean after my mom. She said she was ok having a pup named after her. I lost my dad to heart disease in 1995. He was 64 years old. Way too young to die. I am thankful that he accepted the Lord into his heart 4 years before he died. I know I'll see him again someday.

Thank you Lord for these great memories and help me make some with my boys and grandsons.
